Jordan Brand is paying homage to the host city of the 2019 NBA All-Star Game with this UNC-inspired colorway of the Air Jordan 9.
Inspired by Michael Jordan’s alma mater of North Carolina, this colorway of the Air Jordan 9 features a White leather upper with dimples/perforations on the side panels. Midnight Navy patent leather is then seen on the mudguard as well as on the heel with additional Midnight Navy detailing on the inner liner and midsole. The UNC vibes are completed by way of the University Blue accents seen on the branding on the tongue, midsole, heel, insole, and outsole. The colorway is also a re-creation of the the 2002 Low “Pearl Blue” colorway for those that notice a resemblance.
The Air Jordan 9 UNC will be releasing on February 9th for $190.
