Nike is getting us ready for the upcoming 4th of July holiday as we’re slowly but surely beginning to see some of their most popular silhouettes get the patriotic treatment. On deck today we have perhaps the most popular Air Max silhouette of all-time, the Nike Air Max 1. Taking a look at the Tinker Hatfield creation we see that the sneaker starts off with a predominantly white upper that has been constructed out of both mesh and leather. Contrasting red is then added on the tumbled leather overlays by the toe, the inner liner, and the branding on the heel. Completing the patriotic look we have the addition of navy blue on the nubuck mudguard, the upper eyelets, and the branding on the tongue. A white midsole with a red Air Max unit and a tri-colored rubber outsole cap off the design. Select retailers already have this Air Max 1 available with a wider releas expected very soon. Will you be picking up a pair?
