The Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 2017 Collection will be unveiled on Friday, October 27th, which will include the Nike Air VaporMax Doernbecher.
We already know that both the Air Jordan 12 and Nike Air More Uptempo will also be added to the collection. Today, we get a first look at the Nike Air VaporMax, which is the first shoe to be revealed from the entire DB Freestyle 2017 Collection.
This Nike VaporMax DB was designed by 15 year old Andrew Merydith, who has cystic fibrosis. While being a Seattle Seahawks fan, the shoe comes dressed in the teams’ colors as a nod to the fans known as the 12th man.
Additional details includes #ILoveTheFam on the VaporMax sole unit, Andrew’s logo on the tongue and name in the VaporMax font on the heel.
An official release date has yet to be revealed, but you can expect the Nike Air VaporMax Doernbecher to release in November, along with the rest of the collection.
Meet 15-year-old Andrew Merydith, who has cystic fibrosis. His perfect day: An A+ on finals and catching the winning touchdown.
