Nike’s annual Doernbecher collection made with patients from the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland will be releasing soon, and a preview of the Nike Zoom Fly SP Doernbecher edition is featured, designed by Payton Fentress. Covered in a mix of White, Green Shock, Blue Hero, and Habanero Red, the shoe sports a translucent upper featuring the bright hues. The model is also highlighted with a tribute to the 2016 World Series Champions Chicago Cubs, baseball branded tongues, along with the year 1977 and 2016 printed on the heels. Other special details include “Greatest Of All Time” seen across the midsole, the words Goat and Payton printed on the laces tips, and graphic insoles, with one honoring the Sports Illustrated cover of the Cubs winning the World Series, and the other in a baseball motif.

Look out for the Nike Zoom Fly SP Doernbecher at select Nike stores and online in November. Always keep it locked to KicksOnFire for the latest in sneaker news, release dates and where to purchase your favorite kicks.
