The PUMA Thunder proved to be one of the brand’s best silhouettes that debuted in 2018 and it was also one of the most popular “chunky dad shoes” of the year.
PUMA has taken the silhouette and given it a drastic makeover in 2019 as we get a first look at what is being known as the PUMA Thunder Trailblazer. The silhouette takes on a new mid top construction as well as neoprene makeup on the upper giving it that sock-like look and feel. Laces have also been eliminated and replaced with a new zipper for easy on and off. Finishing details include the PUMA formstripe on the side panels, large “PUMA” writing on the upper, and the same chunky midsole. The new Thunder Trailblazer for women is showcased in two colorways of Black/Pale Pink and White/Blazing Yellow that can be purchased now directly from puma.com for $120 each.
