Puma links up with Prps (New York-based elevated denim/streetwear brand) to release the PUMA x Prps Collection. Dropping next week, let’s take a closer look at what this collection is all about.

Prps, the original, made-in-Japan denim brand, was founded in 2002 based on the principles of perfectionism, persistence and most importantly purpose. PRPS, an acronym for Purpose, is best known for its artistic, urban playground roots, its meticulous attention to detail and its creative approach to denim design.

The PUMA x Prps collaboration will include collaborative iterations of the Puma Thunder ($18) and the Puma Clyde ($120). The PUMA x Prps Thunder comes dressed in a Birch-Black-Indigo color scheme. It features purple and silver hues and is constructed out of textured leather and hairy suede. The PUMA x Prps Clyde comes dressed in an Indigo-Black color scheme. It follows a similar color scheme as it consists of purple, metallic and black hues. The vintage Clyde shoe is inscribed with “Bruised Never Broken” the PRPS mantra.

The PUMA x Prps collection will also include apparel with dual branding, edgy graphics, denim accents and elements of sports culture. Key pieces such as the PUMA x Prps Opulent Hoodie and The PUMA x Prps Opulent Camo Sweats feature the Prps logo and PUMA cat logo juxtaposed with purple and black camo for the ultimate streetwear look.

The PUMA x Prps collection will release on February 15th and can be found on PUMA.com, www.prpsjeans.com and in Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales locations.
