Reebok’s Run.r 96 is an interesting hybrid silhouette, providing a healthy dose of high-fashion flair with just enough retro styling to tie the design together. Typically known for its tonal colorways, it’s now surfaced in a combo of red, black, and white, just in time for the holiday season. Bright white leather overlays sit on top of a black mesh base, while bold red accents on the midfoot provide a bright hit of color. The unique lacing system is on full display as well, with the white laces wrapping down and around the black mesh toebox before climbing back up to the tongue and being tied off with a toggle. From a technology standpoint, the shoe calls upon Reebok’s unique Split Cushioning, a design tweak that removes part of the outsole and midsole for a wear that’s just as comfortable and significantly lighter than a regular midsole — and also offers a truly unique look. These luxurious new kicks are available now at luxury retailers like SSENSE for $220 USD.
