Part of the “Overbranding” Collection which already includes the Air Max 95, Nike has decided to add the extremely popular Air Max 97 to the group.
This iteration of the classic Air Max silhouette an mesh and leather construction throughout the upper in a sleek black while contrasting hits of White are seen on the laces, midsole, and the inside of the tongue. As the name implies, this Air Max 97 is hit with extra Nike branding that we don’ typically see on an Air Max 97 which include “NIKE” on the side panels, large “AIR MAX” branding on the tongues and heels, and a Swoosh on the toe. A black and white rubber outsole along with subtle hits of red throughout the shoe serve as the icing on the cake.
