Puma Decorates the Ralph Sampson Lo in Simple Primary Tones

Puma’s Ralph Sampson first debuted in the 1980s as one of the brand’s premier basketball silhouettes. This year, the silhouette returned in its original form, filling retail shelves in both old and new colorways, like the upcoming “Primary” iteration.

Puma’s Ralph Sampson has been a hit in the lifestyle category this year, after returning for the first time ever since the 80s. The re-release comes as a part of the brand’s basketball revival, which has included brand hoops silhouettes as well as the return of several signature sneakers from legendary players. The latest colorway of the Ralph Sampson utilizes the low top iteration and begins with a white leather base layer. The signature Puma Formstrip is dyed in a vibrant red tone and stretches back to the blue and orange heel counter. The outsoles feature hits of red, green, and blue, while gold foil Ralph Sampson branding completes the look.

Puma’s latest colorway of the Ralph Sampson Lo, titled “Primary”, is scheduled to release on September 1st, 2019. The clean new look will run for a cool $80, and release from both Puma and select retailers.
